1950’s Indianapolis Indy 500 Award Wadsworth Powder Compact New NOS in Box VTG
The compact is 3 1/4″ wide by 1/4″ deep. This was a personal giveaway from Indianapolis Motor Speedway owner Tony Hulman back in 1950 to drivers, favored employees, race VIP’s and Executives at the Indy 500 Mile Race in Indianapolis, Indiana. The compact has the image of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s winged tire & flag logo on front and is contained in the original presentation box marked “Wadsworth USA”. This was part of a lot found in the estate storage after the death of Tony Hulman.
